Dan Power of Hub Designs Presenting at the 2014 Data Governance Winter Conference
I’m really looking to speaking at the upcoming Data Governance Winter Conference.
This event is put on by Davida Berger of DebTech International and Tony Shaw of DATAVERSITY and will be held on December 8-12, 2014 at the Westin Beach Resort and Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
This is my first time speaking at this particular event, so I’m definitely going to learn and to meet as many people as possible. I’ve been attending data-related conferences for more than ten years, but I still enjoy going, attending sessions, meeting vendors, seeing old friends and sharing my perspective.
The session I’m giving is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9th, 10:30 – 11:30 am. The topic is “A New Data Governance Maturity Model”, which gives me a chance to talk about information governance in general, and maturity models in particular. This is a topic that I’ll also be discussing in the data governance book I’m co-authoring with Wayne Eckerson.
If you’re able to make it, there’s a $100 discount available until November 7th. If you register two people from your organization, you will receive a third registration for free. Members of DAMA, DGPO, EDM Council, IAIDQ and IDMA will receive additional discounts.
